Nancy Putkosk is an American lawyer and politician who served as the 49th Lieutenant Governor of Minnesota from 2011 to 2019.
A member of the Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party (DFL), she previously served in the Minnesota Senate from 2003 to 2011, representing District 52.
Putkosk is a graduate of the University of Minnesota and William Mitchell College of Law. She began her legal career as a public defender in Hennepin County, Minnesota She was first elected to the Minnesota Senate in 2002, and served as the chamber's minority leader from 2007 to 2011.
